The CCGS Amundsen, a Canadian Coast Guard heavy icebreaker belongs to and operated by Canadian Coast Guard. The cruise took place in March – August 2008. The cruise area includes the Beaufort Sea. One hundred fourteen (114) measurement series spanning 47 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Pierre Larouche from Maurice Lamontagne Institute at Mont-Joli, Quebec was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements and operated sunphotometer onboard. We thank Ms. Corinne Bourgeault-Brunelle and Ms. Molly Palmer who assisted with operation of the sun photometer.
