2009 RV Islandia Cruise
 

RV Islandia

R/V Islandia is a research vessel owned by the Instituto Nacional de Desenvolvimento das Pescas (INDP). A short cruise took place in May 2009. The cruise area in the Tropical Atlantic included the region around Cape Verde within the framework of the SOPRAN (Surface Ocean Processes in the Anthropocene) project. Eleven (11) measurement series spanning three (3) days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Peter Croot was a Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements and operated sunphotometer onboard.
