  • Latitude: 13.16502° North
  • Longitude: 59.43203° West
  • Elevation: 40.0 Meters

Site Description:
  • The site is located at the end of a promontory on the east coast of Barbados, at Ragged Point (also known as East Point. The instrument is located on the top of a 17 meter tower on a 22m high bluff. The site is about 12 km NNE of the main Airport, Grantly Adams, a short distance off Route 5. The only city is Bridgetown, located on the SW corner of the island, about 22 km WSW of the Ragged Point site. All distances are straight line; driving distances are usually much longer.
