Description:

- The Red Mountain Pass AERONET installation is located at the Swamp Angel Study Plot operated by the Center for Snow and Avalanche Studies near Silverton, Colorado. Red Mountain Pass is located on US Hwy. 550 between Silverton and Ouray, CO. The Swamp Angel Study Plot is named for an historic mine and includes an extensive micro-met array and snow study plot in addition to the AERONET equipment.
