The NOAA ship Okeanos Explorer is known as America’s ship for ocean exploration. The cruise took place in November 2012. The cruise area included the area off the east coast of the US in the North Atlantic Ocean. Thirteen (13) measurement series spanning 5 days were acquired during the cruise.
Dr. Adam Skarke from NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration and Resarch (Durham, NH) was the Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements and operated a sunphotometer onboard.
