Task

See which of the ten types of clouds are visible.

 

Frequency

Three sampling times daily (in the morning, at approximately noon, in the afternoon)

 

What You Need

• BSSN Hazemeter Datasheet
• BSSN Cloud Chart

 

In the Field

1. Look at all the clouds in the sky, look in all directions, including directly overhead. DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN.
2. Identify the types of clouds that you see using the BSSN Cloud Chart.
3. Check the box on your Datasheet for each and every cloud type you see.
