MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2009 CCGS Amundsen Cruise
 

The CCGS Amundsen, a Canadian Coast Guard heavy icebreaker belongs to and operated by Canadian Coast Guard. The cruise took place in July – August 2009 within the framework of the Malina project (http://www.obs-vlfr.fr/Malina/index.html). The cruise area included the southeastern Beaufort Sea and the Amundsen Gulf area. Thirty eight (38) measurement series spanning 12 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Simon Belanger from the University of Quebec at Rimouski, Quebec was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements and operated sunphotometer onboard.
