MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2011 NHo Cruzeiro do Sul Cruise
 

The NHo-48 Cruzeiro de Sul is the Brazilian Navy Oceanographic Ship. The cruise took place in November - December 2011. The cruise area included a transect across Southern Atlantic from Brazil to South Africa. Thirty-nine (39) measurement series spanning 15 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Heitor Evangelista from Rio de Janeiro State University (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and Dr. Carlos E. Garcia (FURG) were Principal Investigators for optical depth measurements. Mrs. Melissa Carvalho and Ingrid Milena Angels Benavides operated sunphotometer onboard.
