MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2008 RP FLIP Cruise
 

The R/P FLIP (Floating Instrument Platform) is an open ocean research vessel. She belongs to the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. The R/P FLIP conducted a cruise in the Santa Barbara Basin during September 2008. Two hundred one (201) measurement series spanning 13 days were acquired.

Dr. Kenneth Voss from the University of Miami (Department of Physics) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements and Mr. Luke Logan from the same institution operated sunphotometer onboard.
