RV Laurence M. Gould

RV Laurence M. Gould belongs to Raytheon Polar Services Company and is used by researchers from National Science Foundation, USA. The cruise took place in March – April 2011. The cruise area included a transect between South America and Palmer Station in Antarctica. Thirty-four (34) measurement series spanning 4 days were acquired during the cruise.

Mr. Patrick Disterhoft from the NOAA Earth System Research Laboratory, Global Monitoring Division (Boulder, Colorado) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements and operated a sunphotometer onboard.
