MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2009 RV Hesperides Cruise
 

The R/V Hesperides is owned by the Government of Spain and is operated by Ministry for Science and Technology. The cruise took place in February-March 2009. The cruise area included the Southern Atlantic and the region off the West Coast of South America within the framework of the Spanish Antarctic scientific expedition. Twelve (12) measurement series spanning 10 days were acquired.

Dr. Carlos Duarte from Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Studies (IMEDEA, Mallorca, Spain) was a Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements and operated a sunphotometer onboard.
