2011 RV Marion Dufresne Cruise
 

RV Marion Dufresne

R/V Marion-Dufresne belongs to French Polar Institute - IPEV (Institut Paul Emile Victor) and TAAF (Terres Australes et Antarctiques Francaises). The cruise took place in October - November 2011. The cruise area in the South Indian Ocean included the region between Reunion, Crozet, Kerguelen and Amsterdam Islands. Fifty-six (56) measurement series spanning 22 days were acquired during the cruise.

Mr. Yann Courcoux from L'Observatoire de Physique de l'Atmosphere de la Reunion (OPAR) at the Universite de la Reunion/ CNRS (Saint Denis de la Reunion, France) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements. Mr. Pierre Sangiardi and Mrs. Camilla de La Vega conducted measurements onboard.
