MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2011-2012 NP Almirante Maximiano Cruise
 

The Polar Research Vessel Almirante Maximiano belongs to the Brazilian Navy. The cruise took place within October 2011 - April 2012 time frame. The cruise area included the region off the East Coast of South America in the Southern Atlantic and off the Antarctica coast in the Southern Ocean. One hundred sixty (160) measurement series spanning 34 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Heitor Evangelista from Rio de Janeiro State University (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) was the Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements and Ms. Elaine Alves dos Santos operated a sunphotometer onboard.
