2009 RV Meteor Cruise
 

RV Meteor

The R/V Meteor is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany and is operated by the University of Hamburg. The cruise consisted of 2 legs starting at the end of October 2009 and was completed in the end of December 2009. The cruise area included the region in the Tropical Atlantic. Sixty-eight (68) measurement series spanning 26 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Peter Croot from Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences (Kiel, Germany) was a Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements. Dr. Thibaut Wagener and Ms. Kathrin Wuttig from the same institution operated a sunphotometer onboard.
