MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2013 RV Meteor Cruise
 

The R/V Meteor is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany and is operated by the University of Hamburg. The cruise took place in May - June 2013. The cruise area included Tropical Atlantic. Six hundred fifty nine (659) measurement series spanning 33 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Stefan Kinne from Max Planck Institute for Meteorology ( Hamburg, Germany) was the Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements. Dr. Rene Redler from the same institution operated a sunphotometer onboard.
