MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2010 RV New Horizon Cruise
 

R/V New Horizon belongs to the University of California at San Diego (San Diego, California) and is a working platform for oceanographic cruises by Scripps Institution of Oceanography. The cruise took place in June 2010 within the framework of the Multi-disciplinary University Research Initiative - Dynamic Camouflage 2010 (http://www.scientificamerican.com/blog/post.cfm?id=dynamic-adaptive-camouflage-squid-2010-07-01). The cruise area included Gulf of California.Seventeen (17) measurement series spanning eleven (11) days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Miroslaw Darecki from Institute of Oceanology of Polish Academy of Sciences (Sopot, Poland) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements and operated a sunphotometer onboard.
