MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2009 RV Polarstern Cruise
 

R/V Polarstern belongs to the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research ( Bremerhaven, Germany). The cruise took place in August- September 2009. The cruise area included Atlantic domain of the Greenland Sea. Seventy-seven (77) measurement series spanning 14 days were acquired during the cruise.

Prof. Andreas Macke from the Leibniz Institute for Marine Research IFM-GEOMAR (Kiel, Germany) was a Principal Investigator for radiation flux and optical depth measurements. Ms. Alrun Tessendorf and Mr. Niko Renkosik from the same institution operated the sun photometer onboard.
