2012 RV Polarstern Cruise
 

RV Polarstern

The R/V Polarstern is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany and is operated by the Alfred Wegener Institute in Bermerhaven. The cruise took place in August of 2012. The cruise area included an Arctic Ocean nd Barents Sea. Ten (10) measurement series spanning 7 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Larysa Istomina from Institute of Environmental Physics University of Bremen (Bremen, Germany) was the Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements and operated a sunphotometer onboard.
