NOAA Ronald H. Brown

R/V Ronald H. Brown is owned and operated by the United States of America, Department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The cruise took place in December - February 2007-2008. The cruise area included a Pacific transect from Baja California south through the Paciifc and Southern Oceans to Antarctica. The cruise ended at Punta Arenas, Chile. Fifty five (55) measurement series spanning 27 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. David A. Siegel and Dr. Norman B. Nelson from Institute for Computational Earth System Science ( Santa Barbara, CA) were Principal Investigators for aerosol optical measurements. Mr. Samuel Schick and Mr. David Menzies operated sun photometer onboard.
