MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2015-2016 RV Akademik Strakhov Cruise
 

R/V Akademik Nikolaj Strakhov belongs to the Geological Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia). The cruise took place in December 2015- January 2016. The cruise area included Arabian, Red, Mediterranean, North and Baltic Seas. Three hundred sixty three (363) measurement series spanning 25 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Mikhail Krinitsky from the P.P.Shirshov Institute of Oceanology (Moscow, Russia) was the Chief Scientist and Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements. Mr. Aleksei Poliukhov (Moscow State University, Department of Geography) operated a sunphotometer onboard.
