MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2010 MV Zim Iberia Cruise
 

The merchant ship Zim Iberia belongs to the Zim Integrated Shipping Services, Ltd.(Haifa, Israel). The cruise took place in March - May 2010. The cruise area included Gulf of Mexico, Pacific and Indian Oceans, Arabian and Red Seas. Eighty three (83) measurement series spanning 41 days were acquired.

Dr. Prof. Arnon Karnieli from Jacob Blaustein Institute for Desert Research, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Sede-Boker Campus, Israel was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements teaming with Dr. Yevgeny Derimian from Laboratoire d'Optique Atmospherique, Université Lille1/CNRS, Lille, France. Mr. Valentin Karalnik operated a sunphotomter onboard.
