MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2010 MV Zim San Diego Cruise
 

The cargo ship Zim San Diego belongs to the Zim Integrated Shipping Services, Ltd.(Haifa, Israel). The cruise took place in July - August of 2010. The cruise area included the Pacific Ocean, South China Sea and Gulf of Siam. Thirty (30) measurement series spanning twenty (20) days were acquired.

Dr. Prof. Arnon Karnieli from Jacob Blaustein Institute for Desert Research, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Sede-Boker Campus, Israel was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements teaming with Dr. Yevgeny Derimian from Laboratoire d'Optique Atmospherique, Universiti Lille1/CNRS, Lille, France. Mr. Valentin Karalnik operated a sunphotomter onboard.
