MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2011 RV Akademik Ioffe Cruise
 

R/V Akademik Ioffe belongs to the P.P.Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia). The cruise took place in September - October 2011. The cruise area included an Atlantic transect from Halifax, Canada to Montevideo, Uruguay. Fifty-eight (58) measurement series spanning 16 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Sergey K. Gulev from the P.P.Shirshov Institute of Oceanology (Moscow, Russia) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements. Mrs. Marina Aleksandrova from the same institution operated the sunphotometer onboard.
