The CCGS Amundsen, a Canadian Coast Guard heavy icebreaker belongs to and operated by Canadian Coast Guard. The cruise took place in July - August 2013. The cruise area included Gulf of Saint Lawrence, Labrador Sea and the Baffin Bay area. Eight measurement series spanning 7 days were acquired during the cruise.
Dr. Simon Belanger from the University of Quebec at Rimouski, Québec was the Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements and Mr. Julien Laliberte operated a sunphotometer onboard.
