The Royal Research Ship Discovery belongs to Natural Environment Research Council of the UK. The cruise took place in October-November of 2010 within the framework of the UK GEOTRACES programme. The cruise area included the region in the Southern Atlantic. Twenty-eight (28) measurement series spanning 16 days were acquired during the cruise.
Dr. Alex Baker from the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements. Dr. Rosie Chance from the same institution operated a sunphotometer onboard.
