MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2011 USCGC Healy Cruise
 

American icebreaker USCGC Healy belongs to the US Coast Guard. The cruise took place in August - September 2011 and the measurement area included the Sea of Beaufort, Chukchi Sea and Arctic Ocean. Twelve (12) measurement series spanning 7 days were acquired during the cruise.

Mrs. Elizabeth Reid from the Naval Research Laboratory (Monterey, California) was a Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements and Cdr. Ivo Prikasky from the Fleet Weather Center (Norfolk, Virignia) oversaw operation of a sunphotometer onboard.
