RRS James Cook

The Royal Research Ship James Cook is a British oceanographic research vessel. The cruise took place from October to November 2009. The cruise area included an Atlantic transect from British Isles to Falkland Islands. Ninety-two (92) measurement series spanning 31 day were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Tim Smyth from Plymouth Marine Laboratory (Plymouth, UK) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements and Dr. Christopher Gallienne (from the same institution) operated the sun photometer onboard.
