The KM Kelud is a passenger ferry. She belongs to the National Indonesian Shipping Company. The cruise took place in July 2012. The cruise area included Java Sea and Strait of Malacca. Forty-three (43) measurement series spanning three days were acquired during the cruise.
Dr. Alexander Smirnov from Sigma Space Corporation and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (Greenbelt, MD) was the Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements and operated a sunphotometer onboard.
