2011 RV Mare Nigrum Cruise
 

RV Mare Nigrum

The RV Mare Nigrum is a multipurpose research vessel that belongs to and operated by the National Institute of Marine Geology and Geoecology (Romania). This cruise, supported by the EUROFLEETS Program, was conducted in the Black Sea during July 2011. Thirty-seven (37) measurement series spanning four (4) days were acquired.

Dr. Giuseppe Zibordi from the European Commission - Joint Research Centre (Ispra, Italy) was the Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements and operated a sun photometer onboard.
