2009 RV Marion Dufresne Cruise
 

RV Marion Dufresne

R/V Marion-Dufresne belongs to French Polar Institute - IPEV (Institut Paul Emile Victor) and TAAF (Terres Australes et Antarctiques Françaises). The cruise took place from November to December 2009. The cruise area in the South Indian Ocean included the region between Reunion, Crozet, Kerguelen and Amsterdam Islands. Twenty-two (22) measurement series spanning 8 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Jean Sciare from Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (Gif-sur-Yvette, France) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements. Mr. Thomas Lecointre and Mr. Sylvain Barataud (both from VCAT-IPEV) operated sunphotometer onboard.
