MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2013 RV Meteor Cruise
 

The R/V Meteor is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany and is operated by the University of Hamburg. The cruise took place in October - December 2013. The cruise area included area in South Indian Ocean. Eighty seven (87) measurement series spanning 29 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Stefan Kinne from Max Planck Institute for Meteorology ( Hamburg, Germany) was the Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements. Mr. Andreas Raeke from German Weather Service operated a sunphotometer onboard.
