The Ocean Researcher 1 (RV1) belongs to the National Science Council, Taiwan. The cruise took place in March 2010. The cruise area included the northern part of the South China Sea. Sixteen (16) measurement series spanning 4 days were acquired during the cruise.
Dr. Neng-Huei Lin from Department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Central University (Chung-Lin, Taiwan) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements teaming with Prof. Ben-Jei Tsuang from National Chung Hsing University. Mr. Chen Yong-Tat Chen and Mr. Yung-Hsiang Chang from National Chung Hsing University operated a sunphotometer onboard.
