MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2010 RV Roger Revelle Cruise
 

R/V Roger Revelle is a research vessel operated by Scripps Institution of Oceanography (San Diego, California) under charter agreement with Office of Naval Research as part of the University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS) fleet. The cruise took place in September - October 2010. The measurement area included Philippine Sea in the North Pacific Ocean. Seventeen (17) measurement series spanning 11 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Steven Jayne from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (Woods, Hole, Massachusetts) and Dr. Jeffrey Reid from Naval Research Laboratory (Monterey, California) were Principal Investigators for aerosol optical measurements. Dr. Steven Jayne operated a sun photometer onboard.
