2011 RV Roger Revelle Cruise

R/V Roger Revelle is a research vessel operated by Scripps Institution of Oceanography (San Diego, California) under charter agreement with Office of Naval Research as part of the University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS) fleet. The cruise took place in October – December 2011 within the framework of the international CINDY (Japan)-DYNAMO (USA) field experiment in the equatorial Indian Ocean. Eighty-eight (88) measurement series spanning 17 days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Patricia Quinn from NOAA's Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements and Dr. Kristen Schulz operated sunphotometer onboard.
