R/V Ronald H. Brown is owned and operated by the United States of America, Department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The cruise took place in October - November 2008. The cruise area included the Eastern Pacific within the framework of the VOCALS-REx project. Twenty three (23) measurement series spanning 11 days were acquired during the cruise.
Dr. Patricia Quinn from NOAA's Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements and Dr. David Covert operated sunphotometer onboard.
