MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2011-2012 MV SA Agulhas Cruise
 

The MV SA Agulhas is South Africa's polar research vessel. The ship belongs to the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, Directorate of Antarctica and islands. During the cruise sun photometer measurements took place from December 2011 through March 2012. The cruise area included the Southern Atlantic and region near coast of Antarctica. One hundred twelve (112) measurement series spanning 25 days were acquired during the cruise.

Mr. Stephen Broccardo from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg was the Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements operated a sunphotometer onboard.
