MARITIME AEROSOL NETWORK (MAN)
 
2010 FORV Sagar Sampada Cruise
 

The Fishery and Oceanographic Research Vessel (FORV) Sagar Sampada, belongs to the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India. The cruise took place in March 2010. The cruise area included Arabian Sea. Fifteen (15) measurement series spanning six (6) days were acquired during the cruise.

Dr. Joaquim I. Goés from the Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences (West Boothbay Harbor, Maine, USA) was the Principal Investigator for aerosol optical depth measurements. Dr. Helga R. Gomes (Bigelow Laboratory, USA), Dr. Prabhu Matondkar (National Institute of Oceanography, India) and Dr. Rashmin Dwivedi (Space Applications Centre, ISRO, India) conducted measurements onboard.
