SY Superted V

SY Superted V is a 57 foot sailing yacht belonging to Jean & Matt Findlay, parents of Dr. Helen Findlay, research scientist at Plymouth Marine Laboratory, UK. The cruise area included a passage from Panama Bay to the Galapagos Islands, then across the Pacific to various Pacific Islands, and finally the cruise ended in New Zealand. Data collection began in December 2011 and ended in December 2012. One hundred sixty-eight (168) measurement series spanning one hundred thirty-five (135) days were acquired.

Dr. Helen Findlay from Plymouth Marine Laboratory (Plymouth, UK) was the Principal Investigator for optical depth measurements. Mrs. Jean Findlay operated a sunphotometer onboard.
