The SY TASK boat is a 30 feet sailing yacht that belongs to the Computer Center of the Academic Network (TASK - Trojmiejska Akademicka Siec Komputerowa). Measurements were taken during various short cruises in scope of research activities of the ZSPDO Project. The cruise area included the Baltic Sea and coastal areas on Bornholm island. Eighty (80) measurement series spanning 19 days were acquired during those cruises.
Dr. Tymon Zielinski from Institute of Oceanology of Polish Academy of Sciences (Sopot, Poland) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements. Dr. Przemek Makuch oversaw operation of the sunphotometer. Ms. Agata Strzalkowska, Ms. Dorota Gutowska and Mr. Tomasz Neumann operated sun photometer onboard and on island of Bornholm.
