The volunteer observation ship MS Transfuture 5 services the area between New Zealand, Australia and Japan. The cruise took place in June 2012. The cruise area included a Pacific transect from New Zealand to Japan. Twenty-six (26) measurement series spanning six days were acquired during the cruise.
Dr. Mike Harvey from National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (Wellington, New Zealand) was a Principal Investigator for aerosol optical measurements. Mr. Antony Bromley from the same institution operated sun photometer onboard.
