Measurements were taken during various one-day cruises within framework of the IMCA (Integrated Monitoring of Coastal Areas) project. The cruise area included the Adriatic Sea and Gulf of Taranto. One-hundred and fourteen (114) measurement series spanning twelve (12) days were acquired during those cruises.
Dr. Raffaella Matarrese from Department of Physics, University of Bari was a Principal Investigator for optical measurements and members of her team conducted aerosol optical depth measurements.
