  • Longitude: 28.81560° East
  • Elevation: 205.0 Meters

Site Description:

  • The Kishinev sunphotometer site is located on the roof of the Institute of Applied Physics building (20 meters high). At this site they also have a MiniMet automatic weather station to supplement the solar irradiance measurements with the main meteorological observations; a MICROTOPS II Ozonemeter to carry out total column ozone measurements; and radiometric instrumentation which forms the backbone of the measuring complex and carries out the solar irradiance (broadband) measurements from UV-B to IR . All of the instruments are part of the whole measuring complex which is now in operation.
