Site Description:
  • This Aerocan instrument is located in the Canadian Arctic at OPAL (The Zero altitude Pearl Auxilary Laboratory). OPAL is a auxilary site to the PEARL site at Eureka. Co-located with the sunphotometer will be the VHF meteor radar (mesopheric dynamics), the PAERI (Polar Atmospheric Emmitted Radiance Interferometer), the NOAA millimeter wave Cloud Radar and AHSRL (Arctic High Specral Resolution Lidar).
