Image 1 Image 2   Site Coordinates and Elevation: Latitude: 0.19624° South Longitude: 78.43559° West Elevation: 2414.0 Meters Site Description: The Atmospheric Measurement Station at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (EMA USFQ, Spanish acronym) began operations in June 2014. EMA is a rooftop facility sited on the Science and Engineering building at USFQ's main campus. USFQ is located in Cumbaya, a valley town east of Quito, Ecuador. At EMA we continously monitor weather varibles (temperature, humidity, precipitation, solar radiation, and wind speed and direction) as well as surface ozone and NOx.
