Image 1 Image 2   Site Coordinates and Elevation: Latitude: 37.09560° North Longitude: 3.38699° West Elevation: 2501.0 Meters Site Description: The photometer is installed on the rooftop of the “Albergue universitario de Granada”. This place is a hostel of the University of Granada (UGR) which is located in the mountain area of “Sierra Nevada”. This location is near to Granada city (the direct distance is around 20 kilometers) being over 1800 meters above the valley. The high altitude of this station provides clean atmospheric conditions, but some Saharan desert dust outbreaks occasionally appear due to the proximity between the station and Africa.
