Site Description:
  • The sun photometer is situated on the roof of the Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET) delegation in Galicia region, located 60 meters above sea level and 400 meters far from the Atlantic Ocean. The city of A Coruña has a population about 250.000 inhabitants. The climate is oceanic with mild temperatures throughout the year. Its metropolitan area has several industries, such as a refinery and a power station.
