Description:
|
- The Semi-Arid Climate and Environment Observatory of Lanzhou University's (SACOL) Mobile Facility (SMF) was deployed at Xihu town, a farmland surrounded by Gobi Desert during March 28 to June 12, 2012. This intensive field campaign mainly focuses on study of dust and agricultural aerosols in Gobi Desert of Northwestern China. The CIMEL #407 was set up at the top of SMF's trailer. Xihu town is located at the northeast of Dunhuang city (about 60 km away from city), and there is little industry but agriculture and big Gobi Desert. And the agricultral and dust aerosols are the primary aerosol sources.
