Site Description
The sun photometer is mounted on the roof of the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh (ROE). This is located near the top of Blackford Hill approximately 2 miles south of Edinburgh city centre. The north side of the hill is residential while the other sides include parkland and a golf course.
