Description:

- This Met Office site housing the sun photometer is close to Glasgow Bishopton. The sun photometer is part of the volcanic ash lidar system network, and collocated to a lidar. The site hosts a range of sensors (Relative Humidity, Dry Bulb Temp, Grass Temp, Concrete Temp, Soil Temps at 10cm, 30cm and 100cm, Rainfall, Pressure, Cloud Base, Visibility, Present Weather, Wetness, Snow Depth, Sunshine, Radiation, Wind Direction, Wind Speed). The site permanently hosts a Rimnet Radiation Monitoring System.
