Site Description:

  • The instrument is installed on top of a 1 m stand at the roof of Finnish Meteorological Institute main building called Dynamicum. This urban site is characterized by its location at high latitude and vicinity of sea. The measurement station site is located in the district of Kumpula, about 4 km NNW from downtown of Helsinki with 570000 inhabitants. The whole capital area has over 1000000 inhabitants.
